BIO:
Martyna Matusiak is a visual artist based in Wheeling, WV. Originally from Knurow, Poland. She received her MFA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (2010) and MA in Art Education from the University of Opole (2007), Poland. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Printmaking at Eugenisz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Poland with the hope to graduate in the summer of 2020. Her work ranges from traditional prints as etching, silkscreen, and collagraphs to more experimental methods as image transfers, drawing, archival pigment prints to create larger art installations. Martyna exhibited her work nationally and internationally. Martyna is Associate Professor of Art at West Liberty University, WV where she teaches printmaking and drawing courses.
